One situation that really irritates me is early morning rail travel when you are queuing for a ticket and some clown is renewing a Zone pass.
I believe that people should be banned from doing this until after the rush hour.
They should put up a poster informing people that ONLY after 10 am can such passes be renewed.
Why hold up decent commuters struggling to get tio work on time..
Not fare, indeed.

HEALTH MATTERS

I have been trying to go all healthy since the start of the year. I have failed so far
My blood pressure is too high and my cholesterol too.
But working in newspapers it’s hard to stay healthy.
If you attend an opening night of a play there’s drink; if you go to a press launch there’s booze. You can’t win (hic!).
And my diet is dreadful.

I saw a holiday advert that invited people to a coach tour of ‘Undiscovered Spain.’
I wonder how will the driver know where it is?

And now for a short poem in memory of the fact that, yet again, I didn’t receive a Valentine Card.
Heart felt

I haven’t got a broken heart
It’s been battered and bruised and torn apart
I guess you can say it’s in pretty bad shape
Kept together with sellotape
